The storefront offers one preview per visitor per day. An external API request without payment receives HTTP 402 terms; that challenge is not a completed purchase.

Review before authorizing
Use the current PAYMENT-REQUIRED header to check the exact amount, asset, network, recipient and expiration. Network fees may apply separately. Set a spending limit in your client.
Handle uncertainty
A timeout does not prove that payment failed. Reconcile the previous attempt before paying again. Risk outputs can be partial and are not guarantees of safety or profit.
